2012 was a very big year for my family (moving to Seattle, Avery starting school, Alexa going from newborn to toddler), and it is the year that I decided to start learning photography.  I’ve spent 2012 doing a lot of learning, and I am looking forward to learning even more in 2013.  So I am going to try to post more – ideally daily – in the hopes of continuing my learning process.  Wish me luck!

Today it seemed like it wasn’t just that I was happy for the new year, but that the city itself was celebrating.  That’s right, there was actual SUNSHINE in Seattle.  My family had to get out and play just to soak it in.
