Today’s post is for Project 52, a weekly blog project that I am working on with several other talented photographers whom I’ve come to know over the past year. In this project, we concentrate on light and spend several weeks exploring an overarching theme. For the next four weeks we are taking a break from exploring classical light themes and instead focusing on the beautiful lights that celebrate the holiday season.
This photo of my girls was the one I used for our holiday card this year. This is one of those photos that is all about the moment. The way that they have been interacting lately has just been wonderful. Seeing them play together, seeing their relationship develop, is just amazing. And you can see that, in this moment, where they are holding hands and loving one another. I will admit that the photographer in me wishes that I could fix a number of technical issues here, but the mom in me couldn’t be happier – with them or with the image.
Please continue along in our creative blog circle to see today’s image by my lovely and talented friend Lisa Rigazio. Click HERE to see Lisa’s last post for 2012.
