On Wednesday, the girls and I went to the Arboretum to participate in a program about Owls.  We didn’t get to see any actual live owls, but we had plenty of fun wandering around the park.  Alexa was happy not to be the very last one on the walk.

Avery convinced Teacher Sarah and all the kids to play a version of hide and seek that involved pretending to be a lion and roaring when you find someone.  I am not really sure of the rules, but the kids enjoyed it.

Finally, though we didn’t get to see any live owls, one mom did discover the remains of what one owl had coughed up after his dinner.  Sorry little mousie.
