Today’s post is my very last  post for my Project 52, a weekly blog project that I am working on with several other talented photographers whom I’ve come to know and love.  In this project, we have concentrated on light and spent each month exploring an overarching theme.  This is the very last post of the year and we have given everyone free reign to post a new image or to post their favorite of the weekly posts from the last year.  Looking back, I am so thrilled with many of my images, but I think that my very favorite is this one – an early morning Alexa channeling Keith Richards.

And since I hate the thought of a week passing without posting a new image, here is a shot of the stunning sunrise I caught yesterday morning on Whidbey Island, where we were celebrating the wedding of some dear friends.
