Today’s post is for Project 52, a weekly blog project that I am working on with several other talented photographers whom I’ve come to know and love. In this project, we concentrate on light and spend each month exploring an overarching theme. This month marks week 50 and we are on our *last* theme of the year. As our last theme, we have decided to play a bit free and loose and to focus on using light creatively. This may mean different things to each of us, and to each photograph, but expect to see sunflare and bokeh, movement and motion blur, and more.
This was taken yesterday morning at our local beach. The day had started out really cold and cloudy, but the sun decided to surprise us and gave us a gorgeous day.
Please continue along our creative blog circle to see what my dear friend Stacey Vukelj has posted this week. She’s been visiting me here in the Pacific Northwest and it’s always amazing to see the world through her eyes. Click HERE to see Stacey’s play on creative settings.
Love this balance and use of lines!
Nice shot! Pacific Northwest beaches are so different from what I’m used to!
This to me sums up childhood perfectly – finding adventure in the simplest of things. Beautiful!
This is great, Kami. I can almost feel her balancing along that log. The colors are beautiful as well. Gorgeous processing. And what a sky.
